Association presents MAJ members-only MedMal seminar
The Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) will present its MedMal Seminar for MAJ plaintiff members only on, Friday, Dec. 2, beginning 8:30 a.m. at Baronette Renaissance in Novi.
Co-moderators will be MAJ Past President Jesse Reiter, Reiter & Walsh PC, and MAJ Past President Judith Susskind, The Thurswell Law Firm.
Seminar topics include "Effective Cross-Examination of Defense Experts," "Ostensible Agency: 30 Years After Grewe," "Leveling the Field with Video," "Defining and Destroying Defendants' Defenses," "Application of the Rules of The Road/Reptile Principals to 'Smaller' Damage Cases," "Daubert and Fackleman Issues," "Persuasion Tactics that Work," "Legal Updates-What You Don't Know Can Hurt You," and "Roundtable Discussion on Issues/Cases (Group Discussion with Practice Tips, Thoughts, Questions and Conundrums)."
A special lunchtime presentation, "Personalizing Your Client," will be presented by Linda Turek of Sachs Waldman PC.
Cost for MAJ Plaintiff Members is $155; MAJ Sustaining Members pay $65. An optional hard copy handbook costs $50. Those registering at the door will pay an additional $20. Tuition includes seminar, food and beverages and digital seminar handbook material.
