On Wednesday, Feb. 12, Cooley Law School’s student chapters of the ACLU and the Federalist Society, along with the Michigan Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society, hosted a panel discussion titled, “Twilight of Race-Based Preference in College Admissions?” at Cooley Law School’s Lansing campus. The event was moderated by Henry Payne, American editorial cartoonist for the Detroit News. Panelists included Hans von Spakovsky, Heritage Foundation; Jennifer Gratz, XIV Foundation; Trevor W. Coleman, author and speechwriter; and Mark Fancher, ACLU of Michigan.
