In its continuing efforts to foster collegiality between the Oakland County bench and bar, the Oakland County Bar Association recently introduced “Luncheon Limine,” a brown bag lunch series between judges and attorneys. Attendees can bring their questions (and their lunch) for an informal discussion of legal topics and practice issues. The inaugural lunch featured Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Phyllis McMillen (left) from the Civil/Criminal Division and Oakland County Circuit Court Judge James Alexander (right) from the Business Court. The judges discussed “The New Discovery Rules Three Weeks In” on Thursday, Jan. 23, in the Oakland County Courthouse’s Judicial Conference Room.
