Section to examine 'Telework in Post-Pandemic Workplace'

The Labor & Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan will present an online Lunch & Learn: "Telework in the Post-Pandemic Workplace" on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.

As the mask mandates are being lifted and more employees are returning to the physical workplace, legal practitioners are facing serious questions about how to address requests for continued telework. This virtual discussion will take a look at reasonable accommodations for employees, and key considerations for employers requiring a presence on-site.

The panel discussion will feature representatives from both the employee and employer sides, along with a neutral attorney from the EEOC's office in Washington, D.C. The panel of speakers will include:

• Daimeon Cotton, Cotton Law Center
• Antoinette Star Porter, DT Midstream
• Sharon Rennert, U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission
