For its first in-person Annual Meeting since 2019, the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan is excited to announce that it will be hosting an open-air cocktail party, with live entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, strolling food stations, award presentations, and lots of fun to kick off its 2022-2023 year celebrating “The Power of the Pack.” The WLAM 104th Annual Meeting will take place Friday, June 3, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at the Detroit Zoo’s Events Pavilion, 8450 W. 10 Mile Rd. in Royal Oak.
The Annual Meeting will include:
• Keynote address by Michigan Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth M. Welch
• Recognition of the WLAM Scholarship recipients
• The swearing in of the new board
• Awards that highlight prominent members of the organization that further its mission
Cost to attend the Annual Meeting is $75 for WLAM members, $100 for non-members, and $50 for law students. To register online, visit www.womenlawyers.org and click on “events.”
