Senior attorney Alexander S. Rusek has joined Foster Swift as a lateral hire. He is based in the Lansing office as a member of the general litigation practice group.
Rusek’s practice focuses on complex mass action and class action civil litigation, business law & litigation, criminal law, and appellate law.
He has represented established businesses, new businesses, non-profits, professionals, and individuals involved in multi-party, mass action, and class action litigation, including representing hundreds of survivors of sexual abuse in numerous high-profile cases.
Rusek has tried numerous civil and criminal cases to verdict as the lead attorney, including life-offense criminal cases and complex business cases.
A cum laude graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, and an alumnus of Oakland University, he was Mental Health First Aid USA certified in 2019 and seeks to incorporate trauma-informed principles into his practice.
