Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Jeffery Matis announced the following changes to the Circuit Court effective January 1, 2023:
• Judge Rae Lee Chabot will retire effective at noon on January 1, 2023, after having served as a jurist for 22 years.
• Judge Mary Ellen Brennan will assume the Civil/Criminal Division docket that is currently assigned to Judge Chabot on January 1, 2023. Judge Brennan’s criminal call will be held on Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m.
• Judge-Elect Amanda Shelton will assume the Family Division docket that is currently assigned to Judge Brennan and will be assigned to Courtroom 1A.
• Judge Lisa Langton will assume the role as Presiding Judge of the Family Division on January 1, 2023.
