'Trauma-Informed Legal System' focus of symposium

Wayne State University Law School’s Journal of Law in Society will present its annual symposium on the topic of “Moving Towards a Trauma-Informed Legal System: A Holistic Approach to Addiction-Related Crimes.”

The symposium will take place Wednesday, March 8, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. in the Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium at Wayne Law in Detroit.

Speakers will explore the intersection of trauma, addiction, marginalized communities, and the criminal justice system in order to better serve trauma victims and society as a whole.
