Carolyn Sullivan has joined Varnum’s Labor and Employment Team in the Grand Rapids office.
Sullivan advises clients on compliance with federal and state labor and employment laws and other workplace matters. She provides counsel on effective employee handbooks and policies, discrimination, ADA compliance, MIOSHA and wage-hour issues. An experienced litigator, she defends employers in federal and state court, as well as administrative charges including unemployment and EEOC matters. She has experience reviewing employee benefit plans, including 401(k) plans and Section 125 Cafeteria Plans.
Sullivan graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law, where she served as Executive Editor for Michigan State Law Review.
