The State Appellate Defender Office and the Criminal Defense Resource Center will host a "Q & A for defenders handling People v Stovall resentencings" online Wednesday, June 28, from noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.
SADO Juvenile Lifer Unit Manager Tina Olson will lead the online discussion about Stovall resentencings. Before coming to SADO, Olson was the chief appellate counsel for the Wyoming Office of the State Public Defender. She served as the chair of the Wyoming Criminal Pattern Jury Instructions Committee for many years. Olson has litigated death penalty cases at trial and on appeal, and currently represents people sentenced as children to life without parole. She has authored articles for many legal publications and presented at numerous trainings on trial and appellate practice.
