Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel released a video celebrating Pride Month and celebrating Michigan as a place where LGBTQ individuals and families can feel safe and welcomed.
In the video, Nessel is joined by Senator Jeremy Moss, Michigan’s first out-Senator, and a host of Michigan residents, Michigan legislators, and allies, including Governor Gretchen Whitmer and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, who let viewers know, “You belong here.”
“No matter who you love, how you identify, or how you express yourself, Michigan is a state LGBTQ residents can be proud to call home,” said Nessel in the video. “We have a seat at the table for you here.”
