National Conference of Appellate Court Clerks coming to Detroit July 30

The 50th annual conference and meeting of the National Conference of Appellate Court Clerks will be conducted in Detroit from July 30 through August 3 at the Fort Pontchartrain Detroit, a Wyndham Hotel, 2 Washington Blvd. in Detroit.

Among the topics to be covered at the conference are:

• Generative AI and Courtroom of the Future, with former Michigan Supreme Court Chief Justice Bridget McCormack – president and chief executive officer, American Arbitration Association

• Plain Language in Court Documents, with Julie Clement – deputy clerk, Michigan Supreme Court
