Timothy J. Figura joins Mika Meyers as an associate
Timothy J. Figura, has joined Mika Meyers PLC in Grand Rapids, as an associate.
He will practice at the Manistee office with attorneys Richard M. Wilson, Jr. and George V. Saylor, III.
Figura’s areas of practice include: general business, real estate, estate planning, and municipal.
He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Michigan State University and a JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
He is involved in the State Bar of Michigan, Michigan Townships Association, and the Michigan Municipal League.
Cameron Ritsema joins Bodman’s Workplace Law Practice Group
Cameron D. Ritsema has joined Bodman PLC as a senior associate in the Workplace Law Practice Group, based in Grand Rapids.
Ritsema represents employers in the full range of labor and employment law matters including employment law counseling, traditional labor law matters, development of employer policies and practices, and employment-related litigation and dispute resolution processes.
Previously Ritsema was an associate at an AmLaw 200 law firm where he represented employers in connection with a broad variety of employment-related counseling and litigation including M&A integration, litigation avoidance employment policies, disciplinary actions, terminations, severances, reductions in force, FLSA, FMLA and WARN Act compliance and classifications, and Department of Labor investigations.
Ritsema received an undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University and is a graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law where he served as the managing editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies.
He also participated in the Sherman Minton Moot Court and was a semi-finalist in the Maurer Internal Trial Competition.
Ritsema is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having attained the rank of corporal and serving as a Fire Direction Center Chief and Squad Leader.
