Mark J. Wassink has been reelected managing partner of Warner Norcross + Judd LLP.
Wassink will serve a second two-year term. He will continue to chair Warner’s management committee and guide the firm’s strategic direction and growth.
A partner in Warner’s Grand Rapids office, Wassink concentrates his practice on business, commercial finance and related legal areas.
He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, which named him the 2023 Grand Rapids Corporate Lawyer of the Year, and Leading Lawyers; and has been selected to the Crain’s Grand Rapids Business Grand Rapids 200 list two years in a row.
Wassink will focus on two key initiatives: growth, and remaining best in class in client service and as an employer of choice.
He has served in many roles at Warner, including chair of the Recruiting Committee and Professional Staff Committee. He serves on the leadership team of Warner’s DEI Action Committee.
Wassink serves on the board of The Right Place, Inc. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Michigan Bar Association and Grand Rapids Bar Association.
He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and JD magna cum laude from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
Wassink lives in East Grand Rapids with his wife, Wendy. They have two sons.
