Association endorses Court of Appeals candidate for District 2

The Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) Executive Board has officially endorsed attorney Randy Wallace for the Michigan Court of Appeals, District 2. Wallace is running for an open seat and as of April 18, is the first candidate to file. MAJ President Jennifer McManus made the announcement.

His filing today, surpassing the minimum petition signature requirement by nearly double, reflects our community's trust in his leadership and legal acumen. We are confident that Randy will uphold fairness and efficiency in our justice system, ensuring equitable access to justice for all.”

Wallace is a partner at Olsman, MacKenzie ,Peacock, & Wallace, where he has practiced for the last 26 years, representing individuals injured in automobile accidents, citizens whose constitutional rights have been violated by the government, and vulnerable adults who have been abused and/or neglected in nursing homes, adult foster care facilities, and assisted living facilities. Wallace has served as a MAJ Executive Board Member since 2004 and held various roles in the organization, such as co-chair of the New Lawyer’s
Committee and a presenter at MAJ seminars on topics such as general negligence, premises liability, and governmental liability.

On April 18, Wallace submitted more than 10,000 signatures to run for Court of Appeals District 2 seat which covers Genesee, Macomb, and Oakland counties. The open seat was vacated by retiring judges Kathleen Jansen and Debbie Servitto.

Wallace is an alumnus of the University of Michigan, having graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School in 1998. He was named to the Michigan Super Lawyers list in 2010-2011 and 2019-2023, and to the Michigan Leading Lawyers list in 2014 and 2015.
