The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC) is accepting nominations for the 7th annual Young Lawyers Section Golden Gavel Award.
Candidates need not be a current member of the MDTC but must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan, and serve as defense counsel.
The award is to be presented next March during a ceremony at the Detroit Historical Museum.
Deadline for nominations is Saturday, Oct. 1. To obtain a nomination form, visit www.mdtc.org and click on “awards.”
