April 23, 2024The Macomb County prosecutor’s office amended charges against two Warren Police Officers in connection with a traffic stop.Last July, Officers Dammeon Player and Carlos Taylor conducted a traffic stop on the driver of a semi-trailer truck outside of the officers’ jurisdiction, according to the prosecutor’s office.

April 23, 2024BERLIN TOWNSHIP (AP) — Investigators need more time to collect information before charges can be filed in the deaths of two young siblings who were killed by a suspected drunken driver at a child's weekend birthday party, a Michigan prosecutor said Monday.“We expect to make a charging decision” on Tuesday, Monroe County prosecutor Jeff Yorkey said in a brief statement.

Justice Dept. launches updated voting rights and elections website
April 23, 2024The U.S. Department of Justice recently announced it has updated www.justice.gov/voting, a one-stop resource providing voting and elections information for voters as well as state and local elections officials.As part of the update, the Civil Rights Division published two new informational guides on voting rights and updated five other guides.
