The Oakland County Bar Association continued its “OCBABC’s of Practice” seminar series on Thursday, Feb 17, at the Oakland County Bar Center in Bloomfield Hills. The seminar focused on “Hanging Out Your Own Shingle.” Among those offering their perspective on the topic were (left to right) Cynthia Brazzil of Kemp Klein Law Firm, Patricia Nemeth of Nemeth Burwell PC, and Ursula Scroggs of Derderian, Kann, Seyferth, & Salucci PC. The free seminars target young lawyers who may need some guidance getting their careers off the ground and into the courtrooms. Established lawyers and other service professionals volunteer their time speaking at the seminars to help those starting a legal career.
