On Tuesday, Aug. 30, beginning at 6 p.m., the Community Network Services Anti-Stigma Program is hosting a free panel discussion in the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Auditorium located in 1200 Telegraph Road in Pontiac.
At this event, important mental health issues facing veterans and their families will be discussed. Information relating to resources for veterans and their families in our communities will also be made available.
"I encourage everyone to come out and participate in this event. Come learn about the mental health issues facing our vets and their families, and the services available to serve them. All are welcome. Our goal is to reach as many veterans as possible by inviting family members, friends and other supportive people in our community to be a part of this event as well," stated Commissioner Jim Nash.
