Attorneys Title Agency partners with Habitat for Humanity to build home
Farmington Hills-based Attorneys Title Agency (ATA), a full-service title insurance agency providing comprehensive services to companies and individuals involved in real estate transactions, worked in conjunction with the Michigan Land Title Association (MLTA) for Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County on Saturday, Sept. 15, in Lake Orion to help construct a home for one local family in need. ATA President Bill Robinson made the announcement.
As part of the build, six ATA employees volunteered their time on-site at 827 Walnut St., Lake Orion, to assist in the construction of the home's interior structure, as well as paint. In addition to the build, ATA employees, through office fundraising, donated more than $2,000 for the cause.
"I am extremely proud of the generosity ATA employees have shown for this outstanding initiative," said Robinson. "It was an inspiring experience for ATA to be able to partner with such a great organization that not only raises awareness on homelessness, but also helps end it by literally helping the local community build from the ground up."
ATA is committed to giving back to the community by partnering with various local nonprofit organizations that work to provide homes and shelter to those in need. The Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County build was part of an ongoing corporate giving program carried out by the company.
Since 1994, Habitat for Humanity of Oakland County has built and/or rehabbed more than 120 houses in Oakland County.
