The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law's Mortgage Foreclosure Defense Clinic hosted a free consultation and legal workshop for homeowners facing foreclosure on Thursday, Feb. 7, at the School's Riverfront Campus in downtown Detroit.
Among those taking part were (front row, left to right) UDM Assistant Professor of Law Joon Sung and student Matt Nicols, along with (back row, left to right) students Josh Latzman, Ben Dacin, and Matt Chapin.
UDM faculty and staff met with homeowners in the tri-county area to discuss strategies to stop foreclosures.
The workshop was one in a series scheduled this semester in conjunction with Foreclosure Defense Detroit, a grant project of UDM Law’s third-year student Matt Nicols.
