FBI releases photos, seeks serial robbery suspect

IMLAY CITY, Mich. (AP) -- The FBI says it hopes someone will recognize a serial bank robbery suspect caught on camera during four stickups in suburban Detroit and Michigan's rural Thumb. The Detroit FBI office said Tuesday that there's a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the man, whose image was captured in surveillance camera images released by the bureau. Agent Robert Beekman says one robbery was Sept. 13 at Talmer Bank in Imlay City, about 45 miles north of Detroit. The others were Aug. 30 at a TCF Bank branch in Sterling Heights, Sept. 3 at a Flagstar Bank in Macomb County's Clinton Township and last Friday at a Comerica Bank in Auburn Hills. The FBI says the man entered each bank and presented a demand note to the teller. ---------- The FBI asks anyone with information about the suspect in the robberies to call 313-965-2323.
