Firm to host seminar on latest HIPAA insights
Dickinson Wright PLLC is pleased to announce that the firm will host "Are You HIPAA-Notized Yet? The Latest Insights and Developments" on Friday, Sept. 26, in Troy.
The seminar will feature attorneys from Dickinson Wright's interdisciplinary healthcare practice group and topics will include: basic privacy and security requirements; practical tips for HIPAA compliance; new rules for notice of privacy practices, business associates and breach notification; responding to subpoenas and other requests for health information; and HIPAA enforcement. Attendees may be eligible for Continuing Education Units pending with the Health Care Compliance Association.
The event will kick off with registration and continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. with the seminar running from 8 to 11 a.m. The event will take place at Bank of America Building, 2600 West Big Beaver Road in Troy.
