Joseph F. Page III passed away October 6, 2014.

Page served as president of the law firm of Giarmarco, Mullins, & Horton PC since 2007. “Jeff was an integral member of the law firm for more than 20 years.  He was tireless in his service to his clients and the community,” said Julius Giarmarco.  “All of us at GMH consider it a privilege to have worked with him.  He was a man of principle, integrity, and optimism.”

Page was a member of the firm’s Corporate Division, serving as chairman of the Health Care Law Section.  He received his law degree from The University of Michigan Law School and a B.A. from Princeton University.  He was recognized by Martindale Hubbell AV rating as well as a Best Lawyer in America, US News & World Report Top Lawyer, Michigan Super Lawyer, and DBusiness Top Lawyer. Page served on the American Health Lawyers Association Board and the Michigan State Medical Society Task Force on Medical Legal Issues. 

Page was a retired colonel in the United States Air Force.  He joined the Air Force directly from ROTC at Princeton University and actively served as the Academy Liaison Officer until 2002.

Page was an avid racquetball, tennis, and golf enthusiast.  He authored three novels under the pen name of Jeffrey Baldwin.

Page will be remembered both personally and professionally, as a gentleman amongst gentlemen, ethical, principled and an eternal optimist. He was generous of spirit, always willing to assist, and whether with his children, grandchildren, prospective recruits, colleagues, clients or church members, he gave of himself tirelessly.

Page is survived by wife Wendy Page of 47 years; children Catherine (Carrie) Page Bach (William Bach), Joseph F. (Jay) Page IV (Janet Page), and Eric Page (Meggan Page); and grandchildren Henry, Campbell, Jack, Allyson, Annie, Ava, Madelynn, Noelle, and Lincoln.

Visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 9-10, from 4 to 8 p.m. at William, Sullivan, & Sons Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road in Royal Oak.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m. at Christ Church Cranbrook, 470 Church Rd. in Bloomfield Hills.

Memorial donations may be made to:  Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, the Wounded Warrior Project, or The University of Michigan Law School Scholarship Program.
