Roberts Court focus of next FBA Book Club
Join members of the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan Chapter, Book Club for a discussion of "Uncertain Justice: The Roberts Court and the Constitution" on Friday, Dec. 12.
From Citizens United to its momentous rulings regarding Obamacare and gay marriage, the Supreme Court under Chief Justice John Roberts has profoundly affected American life. In "Uncertain Justice," authors Laurence Tribe and Joshua Matz show the surprising extent to which the Roberts Court is revising the meaning of the Constitution.
The Book Club will meet in Room 722 of the T. Levin U.S. Courthouse in Detroit from noon to 1 p.m. There is no charge for FBA members and non-members pay $5. Attendees can bring their own lunch or purchase lunch for $10.
