Detroit bankruptcy to be discussed at forum
Area investment advisors, registered representatives, and trust officers are invited to Miller Canfield's first Before the Bell Breakfast Forum in 2015. "Insights from the Detroit Bankruptcy" will be offered Thursday, Feb. 19, from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. at The Townsend Hotel, 100 Townsend Street in Birmingham.
Amanda Van Dusen, Miller Canfield public finance group leader, will discuss what the market can learn from Detroit's bankruptcy about municipal bonds.
