Kristina Daugirdas (left), an assistant professor at the University of Michigan Law School, presented “How and Why International Law Binds International Organizations” on Thursday, March 10, at Wayne State University Law School. The lecture was sponsored by Wayne Law’s Program for International Legal Studies, directed by Professor Gregory Fox (right). Daugirdas spoke about her forthcoming article, to be published in the Harvard International Law Journal, in which she aims to resolve the controversy about whether and to what extent international law binds international organizations.
