Secrest Wardle attorneys (left to right) Margaret A. Scott, executive partner; Renee T. Townsend, partner; Javon R. David, associate; and Andrea M. Mannino, associate, all of the firm's Troy location, attended the Gleaners Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan 23rd Annual Women’s Power Breakfast on Thursday, April 21. The event took place at Eastern Market in Detroit and was attended by metro Detroit’s powerful women leaders.  Serving as event chairs for 2016 were Faye Alexander Nelson of DTE Energy Foundation, Andra Rush of Rush Group, and Nancy Schlichting of Henry Ford Health System.  Participation in the event supported Gleaners in funding the organization’s initiative to provide one million meals for hungry children through their partnerships with 178 schools throughout southeast Michigan. Secrest Wardle has sponsored Gleaners Community Food Bank as its holiday season charity for several years, designating funds raised through Casual Fridays to the organization. Gleaners serves Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, and Wayne counties.  For information, to donate, or to volunteer, visit www.gcfb.org.
