The University of Detroit Mercy hosted its third annual university-wide celebration Spirit of UDM: Alumni Achievement Awards on Friday, April 22, in the Student Center on the McNichols Campus. The event honored distinguished alumni from each college and school who reflect the university’s mission of excellence and service and bring pride to UDM. From Detroit Mercy Law, Dean Phyllis Crocker (far left) honored Eugene A. Gargaro Jr. (second from left) ‘67, legal counsel and officer, Richard & Jane Manoogian Foundation. Also congratulating Gargaro were UDM President Dr. Antoine Garibaldi (second from right) and UDM Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Pamela Zarkowski (far right).
