New leadership installed

The Hispanic Bar Association of Michigan (HBAM) installed its new leadership during a meeting on Saturday, June 25, at the offices of Hewson &?Van Hellemont PC in Oak Park. Taking part in the meeting were (seated, left to right) Mary Rubio of the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, Mayra Rodriguez of Law Offices of Mayra A. Rodriguez, and Jim Feinberg of James L. Feinberg & Associates, along with (standing, left to right) Frank Ortiz of Dickinson Wright PLLC, Lawrence Garcia of Garcia Law Group PLLC, West Bloomfield attorney Norma Macias, John Gonzalez of Gonzalez Law PLLC, and Stephanie Rivera and Amber Cervantez of Hewson & Van Hellemont PC. Formed in 1991, HBAM seeks to provide a voice for Michigan’s Hispanics, especially those involved in the legal profession; counsel and assist the Hispanic community by supporting local and charitable organizations; advocate for greater representation of Hispanics in the legal profession and in public office; and facilitate communication amongst Michigan attorneys and others concerned with the law.  For additional information, go online to http://hispanicbarofmi.com/.
