Forensic pathologist addresses PALS

The Polish American Legal Society (PALS) hosted a general meeting featuring forensic pathologist and retired Wayne State University Prof. Werner Spitz (fifth from left) on Thursday, May 25, at the Polish Village Café in Hamtramck. Among those interested in hearing Spitz discuss his various high-profile cases were (left to right) Scott Wyatt, Mike Wrathell, Joseph Kosmala, Angela Smith, Ryan Hill, William Jurczak, Thaddeus Kedzierski, Paul Tylenda, and Jim Makowski. Spitz was involved in many well-known cases such as the investigations of the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. He also testified at the trials of Casey Anthony and Phil Spector, the civil trial against O.J. Simpson, and consulted on the investigation of JonBenét Ramsey’s death.
