Library to offer advanced Westlaw training classes

For the first time ever, the Adams-Pratt Oakland County Law Library will offer an Advanced Westlaw training class on Wednesday, Sept. 13. Interested individuals can sign up for one of two scheduled sessions that day:  12:15 to 1 p.m. or 1:15 to 2 p.m.

Attorneys and legal professionals who wish to expand their knowledge of Westlaw are encouraged to attend the sessions.  Attendees will learn how to develop highly-effective search strategies to obtain more relevant results and will explore more Westlaw content resources they may not know existed. The classes will be taught by Denice D’Amore Fogle, a research specialist from Thomson Reuters.

All classes are free and are open to any Michigan attorney or legal professional. Attendees can register in advance by calling the Law Library at 248-858-0012 or by registering online at www.oakgov.com/lawlibrary.

The Adams-Pratt Oakland County Law Library is located on the second floor of the West Wing Extension, the five-story glass building (14 East) attached to the main courthouse building.
