The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel will present the Second Annual Legal Excellence Awards on Thursday, March 8, at The Gem Theatre, 333 Madison Avenue in Detroit.
The night will include presentations to honorees: Michigan Court Appeals Judge Michael J. Riordan for the Judicial Award of Excellence; Patrick F. Geary for the Excellence in Defense Award; Kyle N. Smith for the Young Lawyer Golden Gavel Award. The event will also feature the introduction of the MDTC John P. Jacobs Appellate Advocacy Award.
The banquet includes a strolling dinner and open bar beginning at 6 p.m.
Cost for the event is $85 per MDTC member or $170 per couple; non-members pay $100 per person. Judges may attend compliments of MDTC. To register or for additional information, visit www.mdtc.org and click on “events.”
