'Advanced Real Estate Transactions' focus of NBI seminar, August 6

National Business Institute will present “Advanced Real Estate Transactions” on Monday Aug. 6,  from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Detroit Marriott Troy, 200 W. Big Beaver Rd. in Troy.

Many real estate transactions seem routine at the outset, but  purchase agreement hang-ups, title issues, and closing problems can create challenges. Mishandling these and other issues can have disastrous consequences, leading to hits on reputation, loss of clients, or even malpractice claims. The experienced faculty will share their strategies for handling complex real estate transaction issues.

Attendees will learn how to:

• Get advanced-level strategies for issues concerning purchase contracts, title insurance, closings and more.

• Effectively negotiate inspection contingencies, repair requirements and other critical purchase contract sticking points.

• Resolve challenging real estate title insurance problems concerning legal descriptions, lack of probate and more.

• Keep pace with the top issues and developments concerning the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID).

• Confidently navigate closing issues that have the potential to cause malpractice claims if not handled correctly.

• Obtain variances from zoning laws that would otherwise prevent real estate transactions from coming to fruition.

Cost is $359 which includes audio CD and course book. To register, call 1-800-930-6182 or visit www.nbi-sems.com.
