The inaugural Shapero Cup Regional Moot Court Competition will be held all day on Monday, Feb. 18, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, 211 W. Fort Street in Detroit.
Local Bankruptcy Court judges from Michigan and Ohio are participating along with attorneys from the Detroit Metropolitan area, as well as eight teams of law students from law schools in Michigan, Ohio, and Tennessee.
There will be a reception and award presentation held at the U.S. District Courthouse, 231 W. Lafayette Street in Detroit, Room 115 following the competition after 5 p.m.
