Attorney to speak on 'The Dilution Effect' at NAA Michigan meeting

The Labor & Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan invites members to attend the NAA Michigan Region Meeting featuring Barry Goldman speaking on “The Dilution Effect” online Thursday, May 20, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. via Zoom.

Goldman’s “For What It’s Worth” column is featured in the LEL Section’s Lawnotes.  Goldman will speak about how The Dilution Effect impacts arbitration:

  • How additional evidence reduces (dilutes) persuasiveness
  • How briefing weak and irrelevant arguments weakens (dilutes) arbitral decisions
  • How add-on evidence and argument interfere with (dilute) judgment

This virtual NAA Region Meeting will have breakout rooms open at 6:30 p.m. so participants can network with others.

For LEL Section members to attend for free, visit https://connect.michbar.org/laborlaw/home and click on “events.”
