Honigman attorney moderates ICLE tax panel on partnerships
Alexander G. Domenicucci, a partner in Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP’s Tax Department, recently moderated an Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) panel entitled “Successfully Handling Partnership Tax Issues.” The panel included Joni D. Larson, Thomas M. Cooley Law School Professor and Assistant Director of its Graduate Tax Program, and Dean A. Rocheleau, Partner,

Plante & Moran PLLC, Southfield.  In addition, Domenicucci spoke about  “Partnership Mergers and Division and Carried Interest Legislation.” The seminar was cosponsored by the Taxation Section of the State Bar of Michigan. 

Domenicucci concentrates his practice on counseling individuals and businesses on a wide range of matters involving federal, state and local taxation. 

He is the Chair of the State Bar of Michigan Tax Section’s Business Entities Committee. He is also a member of the Partnerships and LLCs Committee and the Real Estate Committee of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, and a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts.

Domenicucci earned a J.D., cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School and is a member of the Order of the Coif.  He received a B.B.A. in accounting, with high distinction, from the University of Michigan.

Miller Canfield lawyer named to human rights advisory ccouncil
Miller Canfield principal Pamela C. Enslen has been appointed by American Bar Association (ABA) president Stephen N. Zack to serve on the ABA’s Center for Human Rights Advisory Council.

Enslen has extensive expertise in commercial, employment, and white-collar crime litigation, as well as alternative dispute resolution, including in particular facilitative mediation.

She received her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and her B.M. and M.M. from the University of Michigan.

The Center for Human Rights helps develop ABA policy and projects on cutting-edge human rights issues and works both within and beyond the ABA to enhance public education about human rights in the U.S. and abroad.

Fundraiser for Judge Cholack
A fundraiser for Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Eric W. Cholack will be held at Marge’s Bar, 15300 Mack Ave in Grosse Pointe Park from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20. Tickets are $50 per person and can be paid at the door.
