Hoffman recognized for leadership

Michigan Health Care Attorney Max Hoffman was recently named to the Fellows Program at the Annual Meeting of the Health Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, earlier this month. The Fellows Program recognizes attorneys who have made sustained, outstanding contributions to the practice of health care law in Michigan.

Hoffman is a shareholder with Fraser Trebilcock. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Health Care Law; Health Care Fraud; Professional Licensing; State Agency Practice; Administrative and Regulatory Law and Civil Law. In addition to being named a Fellow, Hoffman is listed in Best Lawyers in America and has been selected as a Michigan Super Lawyer. He is the recipient of the Ingham County Bar Association’s “Leo Farhat Outstanding Attorney Award” for 2010, recognizing an attorney demonstrating exemplary character, integrity, judgment and legal scholarship while adhering to and advancing the highest principles and traditions of the legal profession. He is a graduate of Michigan State University (B.A.) and the University of Michigan (J.D.).

The Health Care Law Section Council to the State Bar of Michigan established the Fellows Program to recognize former Health Care law Section leaders and active members who have made sustained, outstanding contributions to the Section and to the profession of health care law in Michigan. This is the second class of Fellows, since the program began in 2011. Hoffman joins other Fellows, including: Maria B. Abrahamsen; Gilbert M. Frimet; and, Kathrin E. Kudner.
