On Thursday, Aug. 29, retired Judge Dennis Drury (second from left) was honored by the Oakland County Board of Commissioners for his community service, professionalism and 29-year career in the court system. Happy to present the judge with a proclamation during the board meeting in the Oakland County Board of Commissioners Auditorium were (l-r) Commissioners Gary McGillivray and Mike Bosnic, Board Administrative Director Jim VerPloeg, and Commissioner Robert Gosselin. Drury’s Drug Treatment Court program has helped to shape lives through rehabilitation. He is known as the “Drug Judge” for his outstanding work.
