The State Bar of Michigan’s General Practice — Solo & Small Firm Section sponsored an “Ask the Lawyer” Law Day event on Sunday, Sept. 15, at the Community House in Birmingham. Taking part in the event were Stan Bershad (left) and Martin Fried of Goldstein, Bershad, & Fried PC. “This is an opportunity for the general public to walk in and get free 15 minute consultations with lawyers on any number of different topics,” said Fried, event coordinator. “We have 38 different lawyers volunteering.”
