Honigman selects law student for 2014 Jack Miller Scholarship

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP has awarded law student Brittany D. Gregory the firm’s 2014 Jack Miller Scholarship. In 2007, Honigman established the Jack Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of Michigan Law School in memory of Jack Miller, a founding member of Honigman. The purpose of the Fund is to assist in building a diverse student population at the law school. The fund provides assistance to financially challenged incoming first-year law students from Detroit, where Honigman was founded. Along with the monetary award, the firm provides a Honigman attorney as a mentor to the student for a year.

Gregory, who anticipates earning a J.D. in 2016, is active in a number of campus organizations. She serves as the secretary of the Michigan Health Law Organization, and is a member of the Black Law Student Association, Law Students for Reproductive Justice and the Entertainment, Media and Art Law Student Association. Gregory also currently volunteers for the Family Law Project, which is an affiliate program of Legal Services of South Central Michigan that provides legal services to indigent survivors of domestic violence.
She earned a B.A, cum laude, in political science and sociology from the University of Michigan.
