Constitution Day
On Friday, Sept. 19, the Oakland County Circuit Court hosted a Constitution Day program for more than 300 students from various schools in Oakland and Wayne Counties to commemorate the historical day the U.S. Constitution was signed on Sept. 17, 1787. Taking part in the program were (at left, front, l-r) Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Cheryl Matthews, Liam Conkey, and Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Nanci Grant; (back) Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Lisa Gorcyca, Leah Warren, and Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Michael Warren. As co-founder of Patriot Week with his daughter Leah, Warren (at right) was pleased to take part in the Constitution Day event.
