Scholarship Fundraiser
The James K. Robinson Scholarship Event was hosted by Wayne State University Law School on Friday, Sept. 26, at the London Chop House in Detroit. Happy to welcome guests to the fund-raising event were (l-r) U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commissioner Marietta Robinson of the James K. Robinson Scholarship Fund Committee, Wayne Law students Frank Moran and Jaron Bentley, and Wayne Law Dean Jocelyn Benson. Proceeds from the evening will be used to supplement the James K. Robinson endowed scholarship fund. James K. Robinson, ’68, former partner at Honigman Miller, former U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan, former U.S. assistant attorney general, and the seventh dean of Wayne Law, passed away Aug. 6, 2010. To donate in Robinson’s memory, mail contributions to the James K. Robinson Scholarship Fund made payable to “Wayne State University” to: Wayne State University Law School, attn. Matt Cunningham, 471 W. Palmer St., Detroit, 48202.
