Goetz named to BTI Client Service All-Stars

Richard C. Goetz, Senior Counsel and Leader of Dykema's International Practice Group, has been named a 2015 BTI Client Service All-Star, an honor accorded to just 354 attorneys. He received this recognition from leading corporate counsel and other legal decision-makers for his performance and client service.

In its analysis of this year's Client Service All-Star list, BTI identifies six factors as key drivers to being viewed by clients as a top-tier provider of client service:

1. Client Focus

2. Innovative Thought Leader

3. Exceptional Understanding of the Client's Business

4. Legal Skills

5. Outsized Value

6. Outstanding Results

The Client Service All-Star designation emerges from BTI Consulting Group's annual survey of corporate counsel at the world's largest organizations. This year's survey was based on in-depth interviews with more than 300 corporate counsel from Global 500, Fortune 1000 and top-spending organizations. Almost half of survey participants are Chief Legal Officers and General Counsel; the remainder are direct reports to General Counsel.

Respondents were asked to identify-unprompted-those attorneys who drive superior client relationships. The quality and depth of those replies determined which lawyers earned Client Service All-Star status.

The recognition by BTI is a reflection of the more than 40 years of experience focusing on international law that Goetz provides to clients in a broad range of foreign and inbound investment joint venture, distribution, trade and other commercial matters. He regularly counsels clients regarding compliance with FCPA, Antiboycott, economic sanctions, export controls and other U.S. laws governing individuals and entities doing business abroad.

Goetz earned a J.D. from the University of Illinois and a B.A. from Southern Illinois University.
