UDM School of Law hosts annual Race for Justice and Voice for Justice Auction

On Sunday, March 29, UDM School of Law will host its 5th Annual Race for Justice beginning at 10 a.m. The 5K course will begin at Windsor's Assumption Park at the base of the Ambassador Bridge and continue along the beautiful Windsor River Walk. Both runners and walkers are welcome.

The registration fee includes a t-shirt and a post-race celebration at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. The Race is organized by UDM Law's Voice for Justice Committee in conjunction with the Student Bar Association. Proceeds benefit the UDM Law Public Interest Fellowship Program, which provides stipends to students to serve during the summer months in areas of public service. The race is open to the UDM community and the public. Registration is $30 in advance and $40 on race day. Register at www.active.com.

The 12th annual UDM Law Voice for Justice Auction will be held on Saturday, April 11, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Stroh River Place Atrium. This year's auction will include more than 200 items, including gift certificates, gift baskets, sports memorabilia, electronics, event tickets, and events hosted by the faculty. Advance tickets are $75 per person ($30 for UDM Law students) purchased online until noon on Friday, April 10 ($100 at the door).

The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law strives to teach students to be both skilled practitioners and compassionate professionals. The Public Interest Fellowship Program expands the School's long-standing tradition of service to the community and provides students the opportunity to succeed while making a difference in the community.
