Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School is seeking comments from the public about the Law School in preparation for a periodic evaluation by the regional accrediting agency.
WMU-Cooley will host a team representing the Higher Learning Commission, from September 14-16. The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the Commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) has accredited Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School since 2001. The HLC is part of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). Founded in 1895, the NCA is one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States. The HLC is recognized by the US Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education Accreditation.
