The Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan presented Foster Swift attorney Douglas A. Mielock with the 2016 Michael W. Irish Award. The award is presented to a practitioner whose contributions to the Probate and Estate Planning Section, and whose service to his or her community, reflect the high standards of professionalism and selflessness of its namesake.
Mielock concentrates his practice on estate planning, estate administration and probate court litigation. Mielock is Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He was named the Best Lawyers 2017 Trusts and Estates “Lawyer of the Year” in Lansing and has been recognized annually by Best Lawyers in America since 2001 for his work in trusts and estates.
