Anthony J. Kolenic Jr., a partner with the law firm Warner Norcross & Judd LLP, has been elected chair of the Great Lakes Area Tax Exempt-Government Entities Liaison Council.

The Council serves as a liaison to the tax exempt/government entities division of the Internal Revenue Service, which oversees employee benefit plans, exempt organizations and government entities.  Members must be nominated by a current member of the Council and have demonstrated professional competence to contribute meaningfully to the fulfillment of the purposes of the Council.  Kolenic previously served as program coordinator.
