Rhoades McKee elects Stephen J. Hulst and James R. Poll as shareholders
Rhoades McKee is pleased to announce that Stephen J. Hulst and James R. Poll have been elected to Shareholder.
Joining the firm in 2006, Stephen Hulst concentrates his practice in the area of litigation, specializing in business and corporate as well as labor and employment law. He has significant experience in complex shareholder/member disputes, including shareholder oppression and dissenter’s rights cases involving valuation issues. In addition to his business litigation practice, Hulst also regularly handles major personal injury actions, cases involving Michigan’s Sales Representative Commission Act and the litigation of employment matters.
An associate with the firm since 2006, James (JR) Poll concentrates his practice in the area of Insurance Defense. He assists health care professionals in insurance defense litigation with an emphasis on medical malpractice defense. Poll represents healthcare providers practicing in a variety of specialties including emergency medicine, internal medicine, radiology, neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, bariatric surgery and obstetrics and gynecology.
Smith Haughey announces new shareholders and board members
Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge is pleased to announce the addition of three new shareholders and the 2013 board members.
Shareholders Named
Janis L. Adams has been named a new shareholder of the firm. Adams is an experienced employment law attorney in Smith Haughey's Traverse City office who represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation and counseling.
Cheryl L. Chandler has also been named a new shareholder of the firm. Chandler is a medical malpractice defense attorney in Smith Haughey’s Ann Arbor office, defending physicians and health care entities in medical malpractice cases involving all areas of medicine.
Jonathan J. Siebers of the Grand Rapids office has been named a new shareholder as well. Siebers is an experienced mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate attorney, representing businesses and land owners in industries such as manufacturing, health care, construction, development, agriculture, retail and banking.
Board Members
Cindy C. Boer, Peter J. Boyles, Cheryl L. Chandler, William J. Hondorp, Robert W. Parker, Ronald A. Schuknecht, and Matthew L. Wikander will serve as board members in 2013.
