Drew Broaddus has publication in The Journal of Insurance & Indemnity Law



Drew Broaddus of Secrest Wardle's Grand Rapids office has been published in The Journal of Insurance & Indemnity Law. The article (which can be found at https://higherlogicdownload.s3.amazonaws.com/MICHBAR/b18ff56e-13d5-48db-be48-b9a4f4c7fc00/UploadedImages/pdfs/InsApril17.pdf) appears in the publication's April 2017 issue, Volume 10 Number 2, and is entitled, “Bad Faith: What It Is, and What It Is Not.” Broaddus’s article discusses the contextual difference in which the phrase “bad faith” is used and the specific meaning it has in insurance law.

Broaddus is a partner at Secrest Wardle’s Grand Rapids office and the Chair of the Firm’s Appellate and Insurance Coverage Practice Groups. He has been named to the list of Rising Stars in Super Lawyers magazine for 2012-2016. He was named by dbusiness magazine to the list of Top Lawyers in 2017 and has received an AV Preeminent Peer Review rating by Martinsdale-Hubbell. Since joining Secrest Wardle in 2010, Broaddus has obtained excellent results in several dozen appeals covering a wide range of practice areas.
